Event Types & Subscriptions (Admin-Only)

Overview

As an Admin, you have access to manage event type subscriptions and view event types within your assigned tenants.

You can, access by Event Type tab which is available in the left-hand menu: 

In the Event Type an Admin can: 
  • View event types (i-icon  )
  • Subscribe yourself to event types
  • Subscribe other users to event types

Subscribe Button Status

  • White Subscribe button → No subscriptions exist

  • Green Subscribe button with number → Active subscriptions exist
    • The number shows how many total subscriptions are configured

Creating a Subscription (Yourself)

To subscribe yourself to an event type:

  1. Go to Event Subscriptions tab
  2. Click Subscribe next to the desired event type
  3. Select a device from the list
    • Only devices you have access to will appear
  4. Click Save

Creating Subscriptions for Other Users

As an Admin, you can also subscribe other users.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Event Type tab
  2. Click Subscribe on an event type
  3. Select a user from the list
    • You will only see users available within your access scope
  4. Choose subscription scope:
    • All devices (checkbox)
    • OR specific devices (via gear icon )
  5. Click Save

Important Rules:

  • The user must have access to the device
    • (User must belong to the device tenant)
  • Sub Admins can only select users and devices within their assigned tenants/subtenants
