How do I access the configurations of an Airmatics gateway? Changing the diversity feature as an example

Connecting locally to a gateway to adjust its settings is not recommended. Be confident that you have the correct information and skills to perform this task. Incorrectly configuring the gateway can result in the loss of a cellular connection. In the worst case, it can result in a completely irreparable defect gateway.
The guide below explains how to log into the gateway via a local connection between a PC, an ethernet cable and the Airmatics gateway. As an example, we explain how to reconfigure the Airmatics Gateway to be compatible with a single wire antenna, instead of the default two wired antennae.
  1. Connect the Ethernet interface connector of the PC to the Ethernet interface of the gateway (WAN) via a RJ45, CAT5/5E/6, STP cable.
  2. Make sure the gateway is powered and wait until at least until two of the three LED’s on light up (green, amber or red).
  3. Navigate to the IP address of the gateway.
    1. http://192.168.1.1/
  4. The following screen should be displayed.
  5. If the IP address of the gateway is unreachable, please check the ethernet IPv4 configuration. Be informed that the settings suggested below are the default (Windows) settings.

  6. Login to the gateway.
For protective reasons, the login and password for the gateway will not be released publically. Please create a ticket via the support website or send an e-mail to support@cmcnv.com or support@energair.com to request access to the login data. When doing so, please share the following information:
  1. A picture of the label or sticker of the Airmatics gateway (serial Nr must be visible).
  2. A picture of the -Tags connected to this gateway, label or sticker, (serial Nr must be visible).
  3. Explanation of why access to the gateway configuration is required.
  1. Click on the 'Interfaces' tab at the top left of the screen, and navigate to the 'LTE connection' section.

  2. Scroll down until you see the 'WWAN Diversity antenna present' setting.

  3. The gateway is by default configured for a 2-wire antenna. This corresponds the 'WWAN Diversity antenna present' setting to be configured as 'Yes'.
    1. To make the gateway compatible with a 1-wire antenna, change this setting from 'Yes' to 'No'.
  4. After making the change, press the 'Save changes' button at the bottom to apply the changes.
  5. Log out of the Gateway configuration webpage.
